Crafty, you say...
Hi Amy! I'm a mad crafty person and I am a big fan of creating a sense of community.
I could tell you that I'm crafty (and I will), but I thought showing you would do the trick better ;)
TLDR
⟡ I am an experience designer = I am thoughtful deliberate about all in-person and digital experiences I design, including the way information is shared and received (whether it is info via a website or workshop)
⟡ I worked as an event producer for a networking event for 12 events over 3 years
⟡ I ran a small jewellery business when I was in school - making a mix of metal and hand-tied necklaces, marketing them via Instagram, running two in-person market stalls, and selling them globally on my e-commerce site.
⟡ I love meeting new people, and I love connecting people.
⟡ I love helping people, sharing information and resources with people.
⟡ I ditched my science degree mid-way for design when I had a major "well DUH" moment realising I have always been a creator of some sort

Do I specifically have silver clay jewellery making experience?
No.
But do I have experience moulding various creations with other types of clay?
Yes.
Making jewellery with other materials?
Yes. (Selling it? Also yes.)
Am I in general someone who is always mid way through something creative, and genuinely loves connecting with new people?
Big yes!
Creating alone is fun, doing it with others creates such a warm bond, and getting to teach others and share that? Next level fun and endearing.
Here's a felt Christmas ornament crafternoon I hosted last year - which started with a quick how-to on hand sewing.
Will I be shy teaching a larger group of people, or a group of people I don't already know? Probably not!
I love meeting new people, enjoy being generous with information and lifting others up, I'm an experience designer (so as a result, considerate in how I share information and the experience of other's receiving it). I also am introverted but not shy of public speaking. See pics of me MC-ing a design conference last week:)
When I was in high school, I started making and selling slip knot necklaces to save up for a new phone - inspired by my jewellery making aunt. That snowballed into a small business I ran for two years. Till this day, with all the materials and tools I was left with after this venture, I am making my own jewellery to go with outfits and costumes, or helping fix or adjust friend's jewellery when they need.

Why am I so excited?
I am a freelance product and experience designer, currently working largely on web design projects. I am looking for additional work that aligns with my values to go alongside my freelance business.
This popped up and I couldn't think of something more exciting and fitting – I'd love to explore joining your team, getting to share the delight of making something with our own hands with others!
